Research Interests

I'm part of the MMSD Summer Research Internship program in which I am paired with a mentor to complete a research project, write a paper about my findings, and present them. I'm working with Katie Amatangelo to compare plant traits in Northern and Southern Wisconsin to find which leaf traits are correlated with latitude and to look at the plasticity of plants as an indicator of their ability to adapt to climate change.

Career Aspirations

I hope to teach people what they can do to reverse climate change and solve our climate crisis.  I believe that the solution to global warming lies in educating people on an individual basis rather than in fighting to change governmental and corporate policies.

Hobbies

I enjoy spending time in the woods and enjoying the beautiful hills around Spring Green, Wisconsin.  I also enjoy woodworking and finding ways to use waste wood and invasive species to create beautiful pens and pencils.
