Sarah Swanson's SEM image of a cotton flower is a campus contest winner!
Sarah Swanson used an environmental scanning electron microscope in the Plant Imaging Center to obtain an image of a cotton flower that was selected as a winner of the campus Cool Science Image Contest. Sarah is Director of the PIC. She trains researchers and educators to use its equipment and advance the PIC as a center for image-based inquiry. See Sarah's prize-winning image and other's here.
