Dry-mesic sand prairie on very gentle, N-facing slope, part of an old terrace of the Wisconsin River; excessively drained, coarse-textured, loamy sand. Poa pratensis dominant, with Achillea millefolium, Equisetum hyemale (rare), Heuchera richardsonii, Panicum oligosanthes var. scribnerianum, Potentilla arguta, P. recta, Symphyotrichum oolentangiense, Viola pedatifida, V. sagittata, and V. x subsinuata. |
