In old wayside, on wet seep (although ground was dry at this date), twining on Phalaris arundinacea. With Verbena hastata, Eupatorium perfoliatum, Mimulus, Lycopus, Rudbeckia laciniata, Lobelia siphilitica, Helenium autumnale. Middle of grassy field. Edge of ashy campfire ground in full sun, dry. Twining up grass and over ground. |
