Habitat:  At base of moraine slope to NW of cabin. Ca. 10m NW from bottom of staicase leading down from cabin to marsh. SW portion of lake. In shallow standing water with Larix, Ulmus, Betula, Salix bebbiana, Cornus, Caltha, Typha, Carex, Lemna, Symplocarpus, grasses. In wetter area of marsh/lake border. Medium-heavy shade. Rich black soil.
