Habitat:  With Populus grandidentata and Corylus americana invading prairie relict in old pasture on hill.
 
Text:  Saplings 10ft. tall. The unusually large leaves are puzzling. Normal for young, vigorous trees? Populus tremuloides (M. Nee #833) had no such leaves. All three of thses saplings growing side by side. Sheet 1 of 2.
