Habitat:  Floodplain forest with Acer saccharinum, Ulmus americana (now mostly dead fron Dutch Elm disease), Populus deltoides, Xanthoxylum americanum.
 
Text:  Tree 10m. tall, 30cm. diameter, leaning. Young twigs bright green. Some old sterile fruit still persisting. Flowers not as showy as those of nearby male tree(no.16714). Pedicels and tips of wings red, ovary green, stigmas yellowish-green. female
