Habitat:  Wet seepy open clearing along tiny creek in middle of Acer saccharum forest; Carex stricta dominant, with Carex emoryi, C. trichocarpa, Hesperis matronalis, Thalictrum dasycarpum, Angelica atropurpurea, Stachys hispida, Galium asprellum,. Aster puniceus, and Solidago gigantea.
