Alexander von Humboldt Field Trip Support Fund
Supports field courses.
Anthony Bleecker Memorial Fund
Provides support for the Newcomb Imaging Center.
Botany Greenhouse Fund
Designated to improving, expanding and renovating the botanical greenhouses and garden.
Conservation Biology Major Fund
Aids the Conservation Biology major in its teaching, research and public service roles. Gifts to the fund will be used to support activities such as student travel and scholarships; research awards; guest lectures; and professional development opportunities.
Department of Botany Fund
Serves as the department's general account to be used at the discretion of the Chair of the Department of Botany.
Dr. Folke Skoog Scholarship Fund
Supports a scholarship for a student majoring in Botany.
Eldon and Joy Newcomb Fund
An endowment account created by Emeritus Professor Newcomb & his wife, Joy, to be used by the Botany Department for any purpose or interest of the Department.
Supports the activities of the Wisconsin State Herbarium (WIS) at UW-Madison.
Hugh H. Iltis Biodiversity Fund
Supports graduate student fieldwork in the area of plant systematics.
Judith Croxdale Memorial Fund
Supports scholarships for women in science.
Karow Family Endowment Fund for Native Habitat Research
Supports native Wisconsin habitat preservation efforts by the Herbarium, including student internships, cost of transportation to/from study sites, and collecting supplies.
Paul J. Allen Memorial Fund for Visiting Scientists
Facilitates visits by emerging or established eminent scientists for purposes of giving lectures, enriching courses, or developing cooperative research with members of the Botany faculty.
Roland H. and Maude M. Becker Scholarship Fund
Supports a scholarship for a student majoring in Conservation Biology.
Tulipa et Paeonia Graduate Student Support Fund
Provides additional support to graduate students pursuing advanced degrees in botanical science while serving as teaching assistants.
Wilhelm Hofmeister Botany Chair Fund
Supports an outstanding faculty member in the department.
