The Botany Studio provides artwork for faculty, staff and students of the UW-Department of Botany, and other UW clients on a limited basis.

Senior Artist Kandis Elliot specializes in science illustration, typesetting and design. She produces botanical illustrations, charts and graphs, flyers and posters, journal figures, brochures, and books. The studio is equipped Macintosh workstations, digitizing tablets, film and flatbed scanners, Epson printers including a 24-inch wide-format archival printer, and a 25-inch film laminator.

The Botany Studio is located in B318 Birge Hall. Hours are 9-4:30 M-F. Clients are urged to contact studio staff in person to discuss projects and time frames. Students planning to create their own posters but print them on the Epson wide-format printer must contact Kandis to discuss file setup.
